I have a friend here who loves Talk Like A Pirate Day. Maybe I'll have court that day and I can talk to the judge like that! I once had an idea for a tear-off calendar (the kind that you tear one page off a day) and it was called Weird Year. Every day there was a task you had to do, ranging from normal to kind of weird (like tell someone you love them, call your mother, take anew route home from work, watch the sunrise, wear your underwear inside out), and one day you had to say "Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum," to somone and the refuse to explain why you said it if they ask.
Oh I would love that. Talking to a judge like a pirate. Except I'd probably do it while arguing about a speeding ticket, which would not help my case.
I like that calendar idea. Well especially the pirates and rum. Now all it needs is a day where you have to carry a rubber ducky around with you all day and if someone asks you about it, you have to quack. :D
